My name is Sébastien and I am the creator of La Petite Box
– an idea born out of my passion for good food and my love of sharing it with others.
In 2022, I moved to the Stavanger area with my wife for my job. Like many foreigners, I have worked to integrate into Norwegian society. Learning the language is still a great adventure, and I have come to appreciate many things about my new home.
But there was one thing I couldn't get used to: the absence of some of the beloved French products I grew up with. The artisanal marmalades, gourmet chocolates, and other little delicacies that remind me of my homeland. Although I've enjoyed discovering Norwegian specialties, I've always felt like something was missing in the kitchen.
That’s when a few friends came to the rescue. They started sending us monthly packages filled with “good local produce”—carefully selected treats straight from our favorite producers in France. I felt like I was unpacking a little piece of France every time I opened one of their boxes.

And that's how La Petite Box comes into being.
This first lunch box has been launched in September / October 2025, and I'm gonna try to propose one box every 2 months, with even more opportunities to discover authentic French flavors.
